The Civil Flying Club has been established especially for the holders of Private Pilot Licences. The Civil Flying Club offers generously discounted rates on private aircraft hires on Sundays and there are regular organised activities and BBQs for club members.

Flying is one of the most rewarding hobbies anyone could have and sharing this experience with others makes it even more enjoyable. The Civil Flying Club encourages Private Pilots to meet and participate in many organised events including fly-aways, formation flying displays and lessons, aerobatics, social BBQs and information days. 

The most recent and successful event for the club was a weekend fly-away to Echuca for the Jazz and Wine festival, with more than 60 people attending. Accommodation was provided at the Yarraby Caravan Park everybody enjoyed the organised activities which included dinner at the Golf Club Resort and boat rides along the Murray River.
